The Church of England integrates modern slavery into its national safeguarding practice guidance, as victims are recognized as vulnerable adults or children. The Church’s dedicated anti-slavery body, The Clewer Initiative, provides extensive resources, eLearning modules, and targeted tools for identifying and supporting victims.
