Update, August 2016. There is a new website devoted to Franciscan Aid
This will have more up-todate information than the post below (2 years old!).
The new chairman of Franciscan Aid, Peter Cannings, wants to raise the profile of our charity. He is talking in Areas around the country (11 talks arranged by May 2014).
Information about Franciscan Aid is on the website.
Many of the TSSF website pages now have an RSS feed available. This enables you to be notified of website updates directly to your RSS reader without your needing to visit the website. If you don’t know what RSS is, you can find out more about it at this BBC we page: www.bbc.co.uk/news/10628494
The TSSF European Province Facebook Group is open to all. There are all sorts of discussions. Other TSSF activities on the web are mentioned on another page in the website
In 2011 the webmaster wrote “It was previously a closed group and you had to apply to become a member but it has not been much used. Why not take a look and start a discussion?”
There will be vigils for prayers for Peace on 17 September from 8pm to midnight at both the Convent Chapel at Freeland and St Mary’s Bridge Chapel in Derby. These have been arranged by the JPIC Representatives in the two areas and anybody nearby is welcome to join them for all or part of the time
